Custom Home Process

We have qualified new home specialists at our decorated model homes to help you get started. When you visit our model homes you will be able to first see our work in person for yourself. You will also be able to view all of our standard floor plans and be able to make the changes you want there at the model home. We then will price out all those changes and get back to you with a competitive price to make the home the way that you want it. 

When you are building your custom home with Girard Homes we will work with you to get the floor plan the way that you want it. We have an in-house CAD designer to ensure that we can quickly get your plans back to you. Once we have priced out your floor plan and you have approved the final plan we will then finalize the contract and secure your lot. 

One of the most exciting parts of building your home is picking out all of your finishes with our professional interior designers. Our interior designers want to ensure that your home will be your Pinterest dreams come to life. Our designers have been in the business for a long time and can help guide you on this sometimes overwhelming process. To keep the process simpler we will not make you go around town finding your different materials. We have an in-house design center to make it a one-stop-shop to simplify the design process.

If you are not completely sure what colors to pick and what styles will stand the tests of time, this is why we have our designers there to help you pick your colors. They understand what goes well together and can help you think outside of the box so that your home will turn out beautiful. 

After customizing all of your finishes we will give you your final price so that you know the final price before we start construction. Right before construction, we will sit down with our superintendent that will supervise over your home and go over your plan and all of your selections. Our superintendent will stay in contact with you throughout the process and keep you updated so that you are aware of where your home is so that you can make plans accordingly. 

We want to take the stress off of you and we will ensure that materials are ordered, subcontractors are paid, subcontractors are scheduled and your home will be built with high-quality materials and to the highest building standards.
